By accessing or using Stylo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Stylo ("we", "our", or "us"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Stylo is an AI-powered text transformation platform that allows users to transform text using various modes including grammar correction, formal rewriting, summarization, and more. The Service utilizes third-party AI language models to process text transformations.

The Service is provided on a freemium basis with tiered usage limits depending on your subscription level.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You may use certain features of the Service without an account (anonymous usage with limited rate limits). To access full features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by signing in through a supported OAuth provider.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Requirements

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits
• You may not transfer your account to another person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to text transformations with a capped number of requests per hour. No payment information is required for the free tier.

5.2 Paid Plans

Paid subscription plans offer higher usage limits and additional features. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

7. Intellectual Property

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all text you submit for transformation. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your text solely for the purpose of providing the transformation. We do not claim ownership of your input or output text.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI models (including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Mistral, and Anthropic) to generate text transformations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated output may not always be accurate, complete, or error-free
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use
• We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content
• The quality and availability of AI models may vary and change over time

9. Data Processing

Text submitted for transformation is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. While we take measures to protect your data, you should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential business data, or trade secrets through the Service unless you accept the associated risks.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Planned maintenance and updates
• Third-party AI provider outages or changes
• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Force majeure events

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stylo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period
• You may request a copy of your data before deletion in accordance with GDPR
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
